IC-A22
IC-A22E

Super Compact NAV and COM portable.
This extra compact aviation transceiver features excellent audio quality
on the COM side and a VOR receiver with CDI function on the NAV side.
Check and compare the dimensions of the IC-A22/E with other so-called
"portable" transceivers.
Navigation features
 | Displays the radial heading TO or FROM the VOR station
 | CDI (Course Deviation Indicator) shows deviation from original set
course at a glance
 | All 200 navigation channels
 | ABSS (Automatic Bearing Set System ) identifies the direct radial
to the VOR
 | Semi-duplex function allows you to contact flight services, etc.
while receiving VOR signals (U.S.A. version only) |

Compact size with superior audio
Compared to previous portable air band transceivers, the IC-A22/E truly
is portable. However, the audio is not compromised __
superior audio output that's easy to hear even without a headset.
Ergonomic keypad design provides convenient access to all functions and
a rotary control allows quick and easy tuning of all frequency and
memory channels.
Alphanumeric display
The IC-A22/E's function display features alphanumeric characters which
allow you to store VOR ID's, airport ID's, etc. into memory for easy
recall and quick visual recognition.
Built-in sidetone function
The sidetone function allows you to monitor your transmitted audio while
using a headset. An aircraft headset adapter is supplied*
with the IC-A22/E for this purpose as standard equipment.
*Not supplied with some versions.
